Find media in the Library

Connect an existing video collection, then filter a busy Library by type, source or search terms.

Why use it

Find the right clip quickly without copying a large media library into every project.

Do this

  1. 01For an existing video collection, choose Shared video folders, then + and select its folder. Its supported videos appear in every project's Library without being moved.
  2. 02Choose a media-type button: All, Video, Images, Audio, Generators, Milk presets, ISF shaders or Live sources.
  3. 03Type words from a name, path or details into the filter. Space-separated terms must all match.
  4. 04Use shortcuts such as :video, :image, :audio, :gen, :milk or :isf. Add source:project, source:builtin or source:external, and prefix a term with ~ to exclude it.
  5. 05Choose the info button for more shortcuts. Select a result to preview it, or drag it into your deck.
